Report for June. West Support continues to increase the presence of the humanitarian bloc in Ukraine

As of the first days of Juny 2022, the international agency «West support inc. in Ukraine» increased the funding of its humanitarian block by 83% in terms of providing charitable assistance to victims of military aggression and recruited an additional 17 officers of the mission to record human rights violations. Thanks to coordinated cooperation with foreign partners in the context of increasing the list of assistance, the agency was able to diversify the humanitarian block for the purpose of effective distribution and targeted receipt of goods. Every day, our volunteers carry out a full cycle of work with humanitarian cargo, starting with receiving the cargo in the ports of Europe, ending with the transfer to the final recipient, regardless of his status, a temporarily forced displaced person or a person who suffered as a result of a military conflict.

In Juny, humanitarian aid was provided in the following areas: • Medical preparations were received by medical institutions of Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Chernihiv regions and the city of Kyiv; • Food products with a total weight of more than 85 tons were transferred to the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions; • More than 15 tons of personal hygiene items and household items were transferred to humanitarian aid distribution centers; • Personal protective equipment, such as 3rd and 4th protection class body armor, as well as tactical helmets, were handed over to military medical institutions and special forces that protect Ukraine.

Representatives of the agency "West support inc. in Ukraine" continues a permanent joint mission with partner organizations and volunteers to evacuate the civilian population in Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson and Donetsk regions by providing vehicles. The direction that was previously started under the program "WAR IN UKRAINE" Representative office "West support inc. in Ukraine", as a joint project with the Swiss international association Friedenstaube für Ukraine regarding the provision of dry food for a round-the-clock high-calorie diet, last month increased the volume of aid supplies, which made it possible to feed 4,500 people every day.
